In light of the World Health Organization's declaration of a pandemic due to the spread of COVID-19, many public schools of vulnerable and needy populations were forced to close and many children were left without classes. And without proper connectivity they were confined to their homes without the opportunity to learn or advance academically. Due to this situation, Juan Pablo Valdes and Santiago Jaramillo formed a group with five other school classmates to create a project through which they provide academic support to children in these vulnerable populations. Children who unexpectedly were left without the support of a teacher to teach and accompany them in their academic training process. Motivated by the purpose of serving, this project was born in May 2020. The program offers free tutoring in the areas such as English, mathematics and Spanish to children ages 5 to 12.
To bring inspiration and trust to every child in need of education assistance through the transforming force of solidarity and education.
We want to be in order to serve and with this, to have an important and massive impact both on the empowerment and training of the children of the most vulnerable populations that we train. And also in the children-tutors in whom we sow the seed of commitment to others and especially to those most in need.
